Taking the Summit One Step Further
By seeing opportunities to build upon existing adventure travel companies, David developed successful partnerships in Mexico, Africa, and Nepal.
David never intended to become a mountain climber. However, when a friend invited him to climb Mt. Rainier, he decided to try this new experience. For David, that first climb was life-changing.
Eventually, he climbed the highest summits on all seven continents. In May 2018, he reached the top of Mount Everest. As a result, David was inspired to launch several successful adventure companies in Africa, Nepal, Central and South America, and the United States. It all started with Pico de Orizaba and his partnership with the Canchola family in central Mexico.
When David first met the Canchola family, they owned a small hotel. They also set up logistics for climbers who found their company online. With his guidance, they developed a website and marketing strategy. As a result, their small family-owned business grew to new heights.
Today, Summitorizaba.com is one of the most successful Pico de Orizaba guide companies in Mexico. Furthermore, they are now building a beautiful eco-lodge near the base of the mountain. This success story demonstrates the power of combining adventure passion with smart business practices.
Soon after, David set out to climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. He wanted to use that same partnership model with a local company. After meeting a small guide company owner, he was impressed right away. The owner showed great professionalism, drive, and attention to detail. However, the only thing missing was the right marketing and support system. Therefore, a dynamic partnership was formed. As a result, the small company grew into one of the biggest and most successful in Tanzania.
Together, they turned climbkili.com into a Kilimanjaro powerhouse. They now send almost a thousand clients a year to the rooftop of Africa. In addition, they have built a beautiful luxury tented camp in the Serengeti. Consequently, their clients and many others enjoy world-class safari experiences there year round.

After visiting Mount Everest in 2017, David fell in love with the Himalayas. As a result, he assembled a team of experienced local Sherpas and created EverestExpedition.net. Furthermore, this company now provides guided climbs and trekking expeditions throughout the Himalayan region.
In addition, David partnered with a local team in South America to create PatagoniaAdventure.net. This company offers trekking and adventure experiences in one of the world’s most stunning natural environments. Through these ventures, David continues to combine his passion for adventure with his talent for building thriving businesses.
